About Chris Keenan
Chris Keenan was apprenticed to celebrated potter Edmund de Waal and has gone on to establish himself as one of the UK's most highly respected ceramicist, with works held in collections at the V&A and Ashmolean Museums.
His functional domestic works are hand thrown in Limoges porcelain and balance purity of colour with simplicity of form. In this new collection, Keenan has focused on surface detail and the presentation of differing tactile surfaces within single groups of work. Incised, impressed and written on with thick porcelain slip, each pot offers subtle and unique variations to the touch.
